The digital transformation is THE topic of the 21st century. If all generations and milieus are to benefit equally, we need technology that focuses on people. Jacob wants to bring experts together to collaborate on an interdisciplinary basis and develop technology FOR users - not past them.

In 2011, Jacob moved to Lübeck to start his course of study of Media Computer Science at the University of Lübeck. During his master thesis, he got to know the team of engineering psychology and made first contact with the application context of energy, mobility and digitisation in the project NuR.E. Five months after his graduation, he returned to the university as research assistant and project manager of the newly started E.CarSHare+ project.

Through his parents' house - both physicists in the field of energetic building optimization - Jacob encountered the topics of economy, ecology & environment at an early age, and it influences his way of life ever since. During his studies, he worked four years in a start-up in downtown Lübeck as a student trainee, expanding his soft skills and gaining a lot of practical experience in the context of project and product management. In his spare time, you usually find him spending time with his family, cooking, playing or simply watching a good series on Netflix – do you got any recommendations?
